Truck Driver

Job description

Drive and haul aggregate (sand, gravel, dirt) to and from worksite locations in Western North Dakota to reclaim old oil sites for farming use. Drive a tractor-trailer combination or a truck with a capacity of at least 26,001 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW). All duties will be performed within area of intended employment.

F.a.5a-F.a.6b: 35+ hours/week. 9-hour shifts between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm. 5 days per week, Mon-Fri. May work evenings, weekends, holidays, as needed. Schedule (including workdays) may vary. May work more than the guaranteed hours. May work overtime. OT varies and must be pre-approved.

F.b.8a: Workers will be paid no less than the wage listed. Employer may pay higher wage rates to workers based on seniority with employer and level of skill. Overtime hours may vary.

F.c.1: The H-2B Temporary Truck Drivers will perform job duties at 6115 Hwy 8 South, Stanley, ND 58784 and at multiple worksites within the following counties within the area of intended employment: Mountrail County, Williams County, McKenzie County, and Dunn County (North Dakota).

F.d.1: Employer will provide daily transportation from 6115 Hwy 8 South, Stanley, ND 58784 to and from worksites.

Special Requirements

One year of experience in driving heavy or light weigh trucks. On-the-job training will be provided. Must possess Commercial Drivers License or be able to obtain Commercial Drivers License within 6 months of being hired. Must be able to speak English.
