Job description
Corn Roguing: The worker will walk down the rows between the plants in the corn fields, worker must be able to walk multiple miles per day. Job is outdoors and continues in all types of weather. Must be able to work long hours in direct sunlight, where weather conditions may be hot and humid, rain is possible and worker will be exposed to pollen the entire day while performing he job
duties. Workers are required to work as pairs, and they are required to remain in teams of two workers at all times. The majority of the workday is spent on ones feet and outdoors. Hours and days of work may vary due to weather conditions. Will not be required to operate machinery but need to wear steel toed shoes and hard hats; may work in the off-duty hours of the other workers including until
midnight. All workers may be required to submit to random drug tests at the discretion of the employer. Drug testing and background checks will be performed post-hire at the employers expense. Use of personal cell phone or other personal electronic device during working hours strictly prohibited except for work-related calls or emergencies and violation may result in immediate termination. All physical requirements will take place in an outdoor environment exposed to the elements for extended periods of time.
