Job description

LETEM Forest Products, LLC is a lumber, new pallet and mulch manufacturer. We start in
Northern Arizona where we thin the forest of undesirable trees, haul them to our sawmill where they are processed to produce industrial lumber or pallet stock to build custom pallets. Any waste is ground and processed into virgin mulch for ground cover or potting soil.

Position: Material Handler
Reports to: Mill Manager

Summary/Objective
The Material Handler to perform duties in the production of industrial lumber and/or wood
pallets. The position’s main function is feeding lumber into machines to be cut to proper size for industrial lumber and/or pallet production, offloading & stacking said lumber, and feeding cut lumber into auto pallet assembly machines under supervision and direction of Mill manager.

Essential Functions
1. Performs lifting, feeding, and stacking of lumber to support the scragg and band saw
operations.
2. Performs lifting and feeding lumber into an auto pallet assembly machine.
3. Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department
supervisor and/or Mill manager.
4. Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
5. Must be able to perform, but not limited to, the following tasks: Able to lift 50 lbs, able to
work standing on your feet for 8+ hours a day, able and willing to work in an outdoor
environment.
6. Must be able to bend and lift for 8+ hours a day.
7. Must be willing to accept and receive frequent supervision and assistance with regard to
machine set-up.
