Supervisor/bus Driver

Job description

Supervisors will pick up workers, take them to worksites, supervise workers, field walk, and drive workers back to their housing. They will also assist with simple daily vehicle maintenance checks (DOT pre-trip inspections), timekeeping, filling water jugs with drinking water for the workers each morning and ensuring field sanitation measures are maintained throughout the day. Other duties may include loading/unloading, installation/maintenance of drip-tape irrigation, planting, pruning, scanning, cutting-trimming, weeding, pulling plastic/drip tape and general farm labor. Supervisors may take workers once a week to the grocery store and to the laundromat. Must have or be able to obtain immediately a farm labor contractor license. Background check and random drug testing will be post-hire at employer's expense.

Any crew leader (farm labor contractor) employed under this job order must have a valid state and federal Farm Labor Contractor Certificate of Registration and must abide by all the requirements of the Migrant and Seasonal Agricultural Worker Protection Act (MSPA). The employer understands that they are responsible for assuring that all conditions of this agreement are met regardless of any acts or omissions of the crew leader.

Workers must adhere to all safety rules as instructed by supervisors and practice safety in all aspects of work.
