Farm Worker/laborer

Job description

Job duties will include the operation of farm equipment including tractors, sprayers, mowers, skidloaders, trucks, fourwheelers, bale shreaders, pack tractors, silage choppers, snow blowers, balers and rack, and other machinery to till soil, plant, cultivate, harvest, and maximize the production of crops.

The workers will do daily equipment maintenance. Snow removal as needed in the winter months. Yard maintenance. Chopping silage and packing. Bailing corn stalks and hauling bales.

In the fall field tillage. Put irrigation away for the winter. Set up irrigation system in May. The workers will help with field prep and planting.

Wage Rate Offer: $17.79. Wages above $17.79 will require past experience at City View Farm LLC and more responsibilities.

Clear land; to prepare land for planting; cutting, baling, moving; rotary mowing pasture; spraying weeds. Spaying corn. Job duties will also include tending to cattle and feeding; cleaning pens and bedding as needed irrigating corn.

Workers will be required to perform maintenance and to clean all equipment. Hand labor duties as needed. The workers must be able to lift and carry up to 75 pounds and be available to work Monday through Sunday. Beginning and ending times will vary depending on the weather condition. The job will require potential to get dirty, pushing, pulling.

Drug/alcohol-free work zone. Worker after hire, may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Workers are required to have driver's license Class C to drive provided transportation.
