Job description

Pruning, thinning, trellising, general orchard maintenance. Planting, weeding, harvesting related to apples & vegetables (Lettuce, peppers, onions and potatoes) , washing, sorting line for vegetables. Driving farm equipment and vehicles, mowing, laying plastic in fields, pulling apples out of the orchards, operate trucks or other multi-purpose vehicles to transport workers from housing (weather on or off the farm) to the farm properties; haul tools, supplies, or crops; transport workers from place to place around the farm properties during the workday (including on public roads to reach the farm fields); and/or transport workers to the grocery store, bank, or laundry facilities on an as needed basis Those that are requested to drive will be required to possess an appropriate license, no one will be rejected for this position that does not possess a drivers license. . All workers are to be treated with respect and dignity; they are a critical part of this farm. The workers are also expected to treat the farm's facilities as if they are their own. The farm's housing should be kept clean. When the workers leave, the facilities should be returned to the condition in which they were upon arrival. Alcohol and drug abuse will not be tolerated. Workers must adhere to the food safety standards outlined in the Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) manual. Workers will be given a mandatory day of rest, and on the remaining days of the week, the will be expected to work weather permitting.
