Job description
Foaling season begins in August at WildWater Ranch. Workers begin temporary job duties on August 1st., Workers perform several manual duties., As soon as mares begin to deliver their foals, observance of how to manage and help the baby observing for any deformations and begin vaccinations and baths help with other care and management. Helping the twenty-five mares is important, these mares are bred during the winter and have their foals beginning August and through autumn season for nine months they are well taken care. They are put out to graze on well-prepared pastures planted with hay and grasses for the young colts to be fed during the spring and summer months. During this time the colts are being sold to clients with high expectations.
Workers plant and harvest crops for the horse feed, repair and clean stalls and barns for the foaling season at WildWater Ranch during the nine months workers perform several manual duties. During the Months from
May15th, through July all horses graze on planted pastures. Foaling Season begins again in August, when temporary help is necessary at WildWater Ranch.
