Job description
We need a seasonal worker to assist with our row crop operation where we grow corn, wheat, soybeans peas, alfalfa and orchard grass for haying. Employee will operate farm equipment including tractors and other farm equipment to assist with planting and harvesting crops and mowing hay. Employees will assist in basic farm operations including cutting, baling, and hauling hay. Employee will operate a truck and tractor for the transport of grain crops and unloading grain to the grain bins. Employee will complete routine maintenance and repairs on farm equipment, truck and tractor maintenance, clean the barn, overall farm improvements and general farm duties.
Special Requirements
This job requires repetitive movements, extensive pushing and pulling, and extensive walking. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Employer will conduct post-hire background checks at no cost to the employee. Employer will not employ anyone with a violent/theft criminal background history. Employer will conduct random drug screenings at no cost to the employee to enforce a drug free workplace policy. Failing a drug test will result in termination. Must have a regular driver's license. Requires 3 months of experience.
