Job description
General hands-on labor in wholesale potted plant production greenhouse; prepare potting soil; fill pots with soil; haul plants and pots of soil; irrigate crops; apply pesticides, fungicides, and plant growth regulators; plant maintenance: plant and trim; harvest plants; order assembly; pack plants into boxes; load delivery trucks; unload on-site deliveries; general greenhouse maintenance; dig holes/ditches; mow and weed-eat; haul gravel for interior walkways; replace bench boards; apply and remove roof whitewashing compound.
Special Requirements
M-F, Schedule, start/end times, & hours per week will vary based on seasonal demand. Rotating Saturdays 8am-12pm. Some Sundays. Able to be on your feet, walk, and work for up to 12 hours per day, 7 days per week when seasonal demands increase. Able to work on roofs up to 20 above the ground. No experience required. Employer will train.
