Job description
Duties may include: Perform any combination of housekeeping cleaning duties to maintain establishment(s) in a clean, orderly manner. Clean and replenish supplies (linens, towels, etc.) in all required rooms, hallways, lobbies, restrooms; including all other common areas to health standards and/or specifications given. Sort, count, launder/clean clothing and linens accordingly; iron, fold, and mark clean items and store. Disinfect equipment, supplies, using germicides or steam-operated sterilizers. Prepare rooms for meetings and arrange decorations, media equipment, and furniture for social or business functions. Remove any debris or trash; empty wastebaskets, transport other trash and waste to disposal areas. Observe precautions to protect guests/property, report damage, theft, found articles to supervisors. Replenish supplies, such as drinking glasses, linens, writing supplies, bathroom items. Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, etc. use vacuum cleaners, shampooers. Wash windows, walls, ceilings, etc. Replace light bulbs as necessary & other related Housekeeper activities as per SOC/OES 37-2012 (onetonline.org). Possible weekend/holiday work. Overtime possible, but not required or guaranteed. At Employer’s sole discretion: possible raises and/or bonuses based on individual factors such as work performance or skill (not guaranteed).
Special Requirements
Must be 18 due to insurance. Must show proof of legal authorization to work in the United States. Drug/alcohol/tobacco free work zone. Perform physical activities: such as lift, balance, walk, stoop, handle, position, move, manipulate materials use static strength to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, carry objects up to 40lbs. All applicants must be able, willing and qualified to perform work described and must be available for the entire period specified. Hours may fluctuate based on tourism peaks and valleys throughout the season (+/-), possible downtime and/or overtime.
