Job description
Plant, pot, cultivate, transplant and harvest various types of trees and shrubs grown in fields. Workers will also spray approved chemicals to control pests, weeds, and diseases. Employer will issue appropriate Personal Protective Equipment as appropriate at no charge or deposit to the worker. Work includes laying plastic, pinching, pruning, fertilizing, watering, rooting, weeding, loading, transporting, discarding, rotating, grading, storing, and field grown trees and shrubs according to supervisor's instructions. Harvesting includes digging up products, balling and securing delicate dirt and root systems in burlap secured with rope, pins, or wire, to be stored until ready for shipment. Grading is done by size, shape, and quality. Products are measured and tied for storage and shipment. Workers will maintain and operate farm equipment as needed, maintain grounds by mowing, weed eating, cutting firewood, picking up debris. Workers will fill and maintain wildlife feeders. Will maintain buildings, fences and roads on the ranch. Workers will also load and unload supplies from trucks and or wagons. May participate in irrigation activities and brush control. Must be experienced in operating a 60hp tractor as well as skid steer.

Hours listed in Section A.6 are the anticipated hours to be worked. These hours could increase or decrease based on weather conditions, crop delay, pests or disease, crop yield, available labor, and or productivity. Use of electronic devices during work hours is restricted to emergencies only.
