Job description

Catering and Event Assistant will be responsible for supporting the Food and Beverage Department with administrative tasks, banquet setup, and food and beverage service during banquets. This includes communicating with banquet vendors to confirm goods/services will be provided, communicating with members to confirm event attendance, setting up and breaking down catering event spaces, greeting and serving food and beverages to members and guests, assisting members and staff with special food/beverage related requests during banquets, and performing administrative-related tasks in connection with banquets, such as data entry and generating reports.

Schedule: 35 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm, 11:00 am – 6:00 pm, 12:00 pm – 7:00 pm. Shift hours may vary.

Special Requirements

The Petitioner will consider for employment any person who possesses at least three (3) months of service experience in a fine-dining or high-volume environment at a high-end restaurant, resort, or private club required.
