Job description

Record information about crops corn and hay; Participate in the sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment
of crops such as covering feed bunks with plastic and tires; Repair, clean, and maintain farm
vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery,
and self-propelled machinery (much of which is equipped with GPS) to plow, harrow and
fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops such as corn and hay; Load
agricultural products and byproducts into trucks and drive to storage facilities or fields; Clean
work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping, such as pick stones, mow, trim lawns with
string trimmer, clear brush, and trim bushes and trees; Maintain inventory; Repair farm
buildings, fences, and other structures such as waterers, feed bunks, headlocks, stalls, and
corrals; Mix specified materials or chemicals and dump solutions, powders, or seeds into
planter, harvester, or sprayer machinery; Attach implements using bolts and hand tools; Set
up, operate, and maintain manure irrigation/injection equipment including moving hoses and
running pumps; Move snow.

Special Requirements

Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to
obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 75
lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing
positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination
from employment.
