Job description
Manual labor including using hand tools such as shovels, scoops brooms for duties such as
auguring grain, scooping grain, turning levers and knobs to dry grain, sweep bins with hand
broom after grain is augured; load agricultural products into trucks without over or under filling
and drive trucks to market or storage facilities in close proximity to the farm; Operate tractors,
tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery to cultivate and fertilize soil, and to
harvest crops; must be able to work in dusty conditions and be willing to work inside grain bins;
follow safety protocols and wear appropriate employer provided safety equipment.
Special Requirements
Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to
obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 75
lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing
positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination
from employment.
