Job description
Shovel snow and grounds maintenance, such as litter cleanup and winterization and activation of irrigation systems. Potential for fall and spring clean-up, including raking, mulching, and composting of leaves, removal of dead plant material, perennial plant cutbacks, landscape bed mulching, and dormant pruning from the ground level. De-icing and removal of snow from walks, driveways and parking lots for various residential and commercial properties using hand tools such as snow brooms, shovels, and spreading de-icing solutions, including calcium chloride or rock salt by hand. May also use walk behind electric or gas snow blowers, as needed. Will not operate a snow plow.
Special Requirements
Must lift/carry 50 lbs., when necessary. Saturday and Sunday work required, when necessary. Must be able to perform manual, physical labor outside during all weather conditions (hot, cold, rain, snow, etc.).
