Job description

• Performing preventative truck maintenance, including anticipating repairs for parts, such as hoses or tires;
• Assisting drivers with troubleshooting failures on the road via phone;
• Performing oil changes;
• Performing general truck maintenance (including working on engines, suspensions, transmissions, Diesel Particulate Filer systems, brakes, clutches, alternators, starters, and air conditioning systems);
• Performing vehicle inspections to ensure trucks are in working order;
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues, and performing necessary repairs;
• Completing the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) truck inspection forms every 90 days; and
• Attesting to the fact that Employee inspected the trucks annually and found them in good working order and/or all repairs were made.
