Job description
Workers will clean and sanitize plants work area. Upon oysters entering plant, workers place oysters on shaking tables and separate the oysters depending on quality and size; clean, weigh, pack, label, and place the oysters in iceboxes in preparation for pick-up by freezer trucks for delivery to restaurants, manufacturers, or wholesalers for resale.
Special Requirements
Must have three (3) three months work related exp, no education.
Workers must be able to work in a wet and cold work environment and stand while performing work duties .
Workers must be willing to work rotating shifts:
Monday to Friday - 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM or 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM or 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM (7hrs) and
Saturday 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM or 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
