General Farm Laborer

Job description

Workers on this application must follow all production protocols and procedures to maximize sow and gilt production & efficiencies. The workers must be willing to learn specialized skills necessary for smooth workflow and become a skilled employee in animal husbandry in order to reduce stress of herd and maximize production. Employees will follow daily task sheets in the department to achieve production targets, complete production paperwork accurately and timely, adhere to all bio-security protocols, and give input to lead person in area for items out of compliance. Workers will be expected to work with other team employees in a designated area to ensure bio-security audit deficiencies are corrected and brought into compliance in a timely basis.

Must be able to lift and carry 75lbs/75yds. Must be willing to work in extreme temperatures. One (1) month of relative work experience required. Background check conducted through ADP if worker has a U.S Social Security Number. The employer reserves the right to conduct a background check post-hire at the employers expense IF the employer deems it necessary.
