Job description
Kitchen Stewards will be responsible for cleaning (by machine or hand), organizing and storage of all silver, glass, pots and equipment, maintaining kitchen work areas and equipment in clean condition, sweeping and scrubbing floors, and sorting and removing trash. Responsible for the set up and break down of all banquet equipment (setting up banquet stations that are used to display, prepare, and serve food at dining events). Specific equipment that will be set up includes: buffet risers, props, and portable banquet displays for displaying food, various platters, plates, and utensils, chafing dishes, ice platters, cutting boards, heat lamps, and portable cooking equipment such as burners, flat tops, and grills. Kitchen Stewards will need to lift and carry at least 50 pounds.
Schedule: 35 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 7:00am – 2:00pm, 1:00pm – 8:00pm, or 4:00pm – 11:00pm. Shift hours may vary.
