Job description
Sew different styles of pillows, seat pads and backs, and other products for seasonal outdoor patio furniture cushion manufacturing. Produce finished sewed pillows and cushions using a variety of stitches, fabrics, and threads by operating sewing machines and hand tools such as fabric scissors. Operate industrial sewing machines and cushion stuffing machines, including setting and adjusting timing and tension settings, cleaning and replacing needles as needed. Perform sewing tasks efficiently while observing all safety procedures and rules. Perform other tasks related to assembling sewn cushion and umbrella products. Keep workspace organized and clean. Maintain and report accurate personal production data. Perform other similar tasks as needed.
Special Requirements
MUST HAVE AT LEAST 3 MONTHS PRIOR FULL-TIME EMPLOYMENT EXPERIENCE SEWING GARMENTS, PILLOWS, OR OTHER SIMILAR PRODUCTS IN A MANUFACTURING SETTING WITHIN THE 5 YEARS PRECEDING THE START DATE. MUST BE ABLE TO OBTAIN A STATE DRIVER'S LICENSE.
