Job description

We are a cotton warehouse that must receive, unload and store the cotton that is produced from our two
cotton gins in order for them to operate 24 hours a day. The cotton has to be stored and electronically located
so that any individual bale of cotton can be located and set up for shipping with accordance to USDA
regulations. During receiving we have to test weigh bales to verify the gin's weights. We are needing
additional forklift operators for this season. Read and speak English. Use of scanners and tablets to locate
cotton bales. Minor Maintenance of forklift (blow out radiator, hose changes, check fluid levels, fill and swap
propane fuel tanks.) Become familiar with dry sprinkler system and maintenance of system. Sweep and clean
warehouse, warehouse exterior and yard maintenance. Drive to suppliers to pick up parts and supplies. Job
duties may include and are not limited to tasks such as: attach/detach implements, be able to handle working
in high humidity, clean work areas, load and unload materials and commodities, maintain grounds and
landscaping, maintain inventory, operate self propelled machinery, participate in the inspection, grading,
sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops, set up repair, maintain, and operate specialized
equipment, weigh containers and record weights and identifying information. Equipment such as but not
limited to the following will be used/operated by the workers in conjunction with the duties being performed:
forklift, pickups, cars, etc, tractors. The workers will be performing the duties to help produce: cotton.

Special Requirements

Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to
obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 50
lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing
positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination
from employment.
