Job description
Directly coach participants; organize, manage program coaching staff including staff scheduling, performance planning, and evaluations; communicate effectively with parents and athletes; set and maintain courses, closures, and safety measures following standards of US Ski and Snowboard and FIS; ensure all facilities and equipment are properly maintained and stored; conduct video analysis sessions with participants; conduct athlete goal setting meetings regularly; responsible for athlete supervision, team captain's meeting representation, organize team travel arrangements; participate in staff meetings.
Special Requirements
Twenty-four (24) months of Alpine Race coaching experience in an organized ski club program is required.
Training or Certification Requirement USSA level 200 or internationally recognized equivalent preferred.
Applicant must complete pre-employment background check, be able to lift 50 lbs., and speak English. Must be able to stand in ski boots for at least 6 hours in adverse weather conditions. On-the-Job Training provided. Will Train.
Following Shifts available 7 days a week including weekends and holidays. Work schedule can vary and may include evening, weekend, and holidays hours. Example shift: 9:00am to 4:00pm. Shift hours may vary.
Hourly Wage: $21.33 to $28.00 per hour (based on merit and past experience with our company)
Possible Wage Increase: Pay raises for increased certification levels.
Overtime Possible: Overtime may be available at $32.00 to $42.00 per hour.
