Job description
Manure is pumped from the manure source to the field through a hose to an applicator that directly injects the manure into the ground to be used as fertilizer. Workers will be responsible for transporting poultry or hog manure from site to field then unload manure into tractor tanker to inject into the field. Workers must apply grease to equipment and wash and disinfect equipment frequently to avoid disease, operate tractors to agitate, check and monitor hoses for leaks or issues, run pumps, move hoses and equipment to next jobs, fuel, and maintenance equipment. Equipment being operated/driven may include pumps, tractors, semi-trucks, and hoses. The job requires working around livestock and the strong smell of manure. Special Requirements
Must be able to lift 75 lbs/75 yards. Regular drivers license or foreign equivalent required. Training can be provided while on the job if needed. Post-employment drug tests are paid for by employer when applicable.
