Job description

The Nanny is to provide responsible care for one child, and keep a clean and safe environment for the children. This includes the following:

In no event will the Children be allowed to engage in any activity that is deemed dangerous by the Parents or the Nanny. The Child is not to be spanked, hit, verbally abused/insulted, or touched with force for transgressions. The nanny must use child appropriate language - no cursing.

The Child will not be transported without the Parents’ prior consent and instruction. The Child will not be transported to someone else’s home without prior consent of the Parents.

All transportation will be in the Parents’ vehicle or Nanny's provided vehicle and with proper car seat provided and approved by the Parents. No person has permission to transport the Child without the Parents’ prior consent.

The Nanny will arrange and prepare healthy meals daily, always making sure that all foods offered to the child adhere to the Childs eating restrictions and allergies.

The Nanny will assist with weekly food shopping for the children.

The Nanny will spend at least ninety (90) minutes each day outside with the Child, weather permitting.

The Nanny will help in coordination and transportation of any after school activities or playdates for the child

The Nanny will provide the Parents with a daily update via text message or email (or call if necessary) at least once during each day. The Nanny is encouraged to provide a photo or video to the Parents in such update.

The Nanny will not administer any medication, including over-the-counter medications, unless specifically directed to do so by the Parents.

The Nanny will not have any guests at the Parent’s primary residence or around the Child without the prior consent of the Parents. This includes other children, nannies, and neighbors as well as friends, family members, or significant others of the Nanny.

The Nanny will be responsible for the following domestic duties as part of her job:

i. Dishes: Daily cleaning of all cups, dishes, etc. that are used by the Children and the Nanny (e.g., the Nanny will put dirty dishes in the dishwasher, run the appropriate dishwasher. The Nanny will also vacuum and/or sweep under the kitchen tables and wipe down tables and countertops after eating, as needed.

ii. Play Area: Pick up toys and clothes daily in the Children’s play areas (including Child’s rooms, play room, living room, and outside).

iii. Other Domestic Duties related to the nannying and care of the Children: The Nanny will be responsible for certain other domestic duties directly related to the nannying of children, as reasonably requested by the Parents (e.g., packing the Children for trips, organizing the Children’s bedroom, etc.).

Special Requirements

The Nanny agrees that she will obtain Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certification training for infants before or after arriving at the worksite. The Employer will compensate the nanny for the costs of any such certification.

Nanny will have to undertake driving lessons in the US, if they do not have a driver's license, or have a foreign driver's license.
