Job description

to assist with the operation of steam heated vacuum pans, batch cookers and crystallization to manufacture raw sugar during the harvest season by setting temperature and pressure gauges on cooking machines to produce sugar, and performing related sugar boiling work as needed or assigned.

Weekly meal allowance will be provided to the worker.

Special Requirements

Must be willing to work 7 days a week, varying 12 hour shifts (12pm-12am; 12am-12pm); overtime paid after 48 hours a week during harvesting season; 40 hours a week after harvesting season until the end of the contract. Overtime as needed after harvesting season. Workers will have 30 minutes paid lunch break during the workday.
