Job description

Primarily responsible for seating guests and taking orders. Duties include: providing menus, taking orders, and answering inquiries regarding menu items; serving food and drinks; monitoring tables for customer satisfaction; handling payments; cleaning and resetting tables; assisting with special events; providing quality service to customers; following health and safety regulations.

Employer will provide 1-2 meals free of charge per daily shift worked. Hours and shifts may vary depending on need.

Per NY Law - employer will provide paid sick leave and free laundry service for employer issued uniforms.

Special Requirements

Must have the ability to provide sales and customer service and use tools that are standard with a restaurant; must be able to understand and follow instructions and safety rules. Basic literacy skills consistent with 6th grade reading, writing, and math .
Must be able to lift and stand.
