HazMat Endorsement CDL Truck Driver - Temporary full-time positions from October 1, 2024 to January 31, 2025. Responsible for hauling gas and diesel in a tanker to customers. Read maps to determine routes. Operate communications equipment or systems. Workers will operate a full tanker from 2100 Main Street, Franklin, LA 70538, to our customer sites within a 120-mile radius. At the customer site, the worker will hook up the hose from the tanker to the permanent tank at the customer's location. Once the permanent tank is filled with diesel or fuel, the worker will return by driving the empty tanker to 2100 Main Street, Franklin, LA, 70538. Maintain records of every delivery. 40 hours per week. Must be willing to work 7 days per week. Must be willing to work overtime. Must be able to drive a standard or automatic truck. Must be able to lift 50lbs. The job involves extensive sitting, repetitive movements, and sometimes working in inclement weather. Once hired, workers may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination. All work tools, supplies, and equipment will be provided at no charge to the employee. Six (6) months of verifiable experience in the job offered is required. Requires a Class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements or its foreign equivalent. The workers will drive tanker trucks from 2100 Main Street, Franklin, LA 70538 to customer sites (i.e., raw sugar mills) for 7 days a week performing 1-3 trips per day. The workers will always return to 2100 Main Street, Franklin, LA at the end of each trip. The diesel delivery locations include the raw sugar mills and sugarcane fields in St. Mary, Iberia, St. Martin, Lafayette, Vermilion, St. Landry, Avoyelles, Evangeline, Rapides, and Iberville Parishes. The most frequent delivery locations include, but are not limited to the following: 611 Irish Bend Road, Franklin, LA 70538 (2 miles); 3512 J. Patout Burns Road, Jeanerette, LA 70544 (17 miles); 20056 LA-182, Jeanerette, LA 70544 (17 miles); 6092 Resweber Highway, St. Martinville, LA 70582 (39 miles); 12136 LA 82, Abbeville, LA 70510 (55 miles); 108 Jefferson Highway, Cheneveyville, LA 71325 (102 miles) and, 34622 Veterans Memorial Drive, Gueydan, LA 70542 (72 miles). The workers will not travel beyond 120 miles of 100 Main Street, Franklin, LA 70538. The workers will not leave the State of Louisiana.
