Truck Driver/ag Equipment Operator

Job description

We run a custom harvest and farming business, starting by hauling equipment to Oklahoma in April for the May harvest. Our tasks include operating tractors, combines, and semis, as well as fixing tile and cleaning and repairing equipment. We harvest wheat and canola in Oklahoma, Kansas, and Nebraska before returning the equipment to Iowa for fall harvest preparation. Completing the fall harvest in December, we then wash and repair equipment and transport the grain to meet contracts and fulfill fall tillage needs, with our season ending in December. Employer may provide pay increases for performance and experience at employer’s discretion. Employer may provide performance bonuses at the end of the contract at the employer’s discretion.

*** For 2025 and all future applications the starting date will be March to cover the entire crop season.

Special Requirements

Job requires extensive sitting, pushing, pulling, repetitive movements,. Employer will conduct post-hire drug tests at no cost to the employee to enforce a drug free workplace policy. Failing a drug test will result in termination. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Job requires a regular drivers license and employee must be able to obtain a CDL or equivalent within 30 days of hire. Require 3 months experience.
