Job description
Responsible for assisting head chef in kitchen. Duties include preparing and cooking Mexican cuisine; cutting meat and vegetables; monitoring the supply of ingredients; following health and safety regulations; maintain cleanliness of kitchen; using equipment properly; plating food; loss and waste prevention.
Hours and shifts vary depending on need.
Employer will provide free of charge 1-2 meals per daily shift worked.

Special Requirements
12 months working in restaurant/commercial kitchen. Must have the ability to use tools that are standard in a commercial restaurant; must be able to understand and follow instructions and safety rules in Spanish or English. Basic literacy skills consistent with 6th grade reading, writing, and math - can be in Spanish or English.
Must be able to lift and stand.
