Job description

Housemen will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining all rooms, suites, and indoor common areas at Winter Park Resort's properties, which includes any combination of the following: sweep, mop, scrub, wax and polish floors; sweep and vacuum rugs and baseboards; shampoo and spot clean carpets; dust and polish furniture and woodwork; empty trash; wash windows; stock guest rooms with amenities and supplies; report repair and maintenance needs to supervisor; clean light fixtures and replace light bulbs; perform other light maintenance duties as needed; assist with laundry and pressing of linens and uniforms; assist with guest luggage, provide direction to rooms and common areas, assist the front desk with errands and messages.

Special Requirements

Three (3) months of Houseman experience at a high-end restaurant, resort, or private club required. Applicant must complete pre-employment background check. Must be able to lift up to 35-50 lbs unassisted, kneel and bend regularly, and stand for the entire scheduled shift.
On-the-Job Training provided. Will Train.
Shifts available 7 days a week including weekends and holidays. Work schedule can vary and may include evening, weekend, and holidays hours. Example shift: 9:00am to 4:00pm. Shift hours may vary.
Hourly Wage: $21.46 to $28.07 per hour (based on merit and past experience with our company).
Overtime may be available at $32.19 to $42.11 per hour.
Pay raises for returning staff if their experience and skillset meets the requirements for a higher wage.
