Job description
Manipulate controls to set, activate, and adjust machinery; Operate or tend self-propelled
equipment and implements (much of which are equipped with GPS) used in agricultural
production such as tractor, tillage tool, combine, grain cart, mower, etc. for duties such as
fertilizing, planting, weeding, harvesting, storing crops such as wheat, sesame, hay, corn,
silage, soybeans; Drive truck to haul crops, supplies, tools to and from storage and market
facilities; Adjust and ready farm machinery and equipment; Clean work areas; Feed and water
livestock; Herd livestock to pastures for grazing or to scales, trucks, or other enclosures;
Monitor animals for illness, injury, or disease; Move equipment or livestock from one location to
another; Perform duties related to calving and weaning; Inspect, maintain, and repair
equipment, machinery, buildings, pens, yards, and fences.
Special Requirements
Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to
obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 75
lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing
positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination
from employment.
