Job description
Concrete finisher will perform work on commercial paving, slabs, sidewalks, and vertical wall applications. Spread, level, and smooth concrete, using rake, shovel, hoe, tamper, scraper, hans or power trowel, hand or power screed, and float. Finish concrete surfaces, use measuring devices to verify levelness or verticality, such as level, tape measure and square, operate power construction equipment such as skid loaders, mini excavators, backhoes, and concrete carts. Apply adhesive, caulking, sealants, or coating. Perform job duties under verbal directions by the owner or supervisor. Clean-up job worksites as needed. Additionally, workers will ensure worksite grounds are clear of snow and ice before beginning work due to winter temperatures. Workers will focus on indoor work such as installing floors, interior walls, cabinets, trims, and windows once temperatures begin to reach freezing levels.
Special Requirements
Three (3) months of construction or related experience required. Must be able to lift and carry 75 lbs. for 75 yards.
