Job description

Drive and control equipment to support agricultural activities such as ginning; Load and unload
cotton in the field; Drive straight truck to haul modules from fields to gin yard; Load cotton onto
module feeder; Drive truck with trailer to haul bales from gin yard to storage; Adjust, repair, and
service trucks; Operate stationary equipment such as bale press to perform post-harvest tasks
such as ginning; Record weights and other identifying information including weight of bale and
seed; Manipulate controls to set, activate, and adjust mechanisms on machinery; Guide
products on conveyors to regulate flow through machines; Observe and listen to machinery
operation to detect equipment malfunctions; Adjust, repair, and service machinery and notify
supervisors of malfunctions; Daily upkeep and cleaning of equipment while ginning; During
times of peak need and depending on weather or crop conditions, hours requested may
increase to up to 12 hours per day and employer may run day/night shifts; work at night may
be requested; employer may request but cannot require workers to work on their Sabbath.

Special Requirements

Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to
obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 50
lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing
positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination
from employment.
