Job description

We are a small cattle company. We raise and import cattle and hay to be sold to feedyards as we build our
own. We need workers for hauling cattle, farm equipment, and feed/forage to and from yards and ports.
Distance can vary from 120 +/- miles. Job duties may include and are not limited to tasks such as: clean work
areas, construct facilities, load crops and drive trucks to transport to and from fields and/or storage locations
or facilities, load and unload materials and commodities, load inputs and drive trucks to transport to fields,
maintain grounds and landscaping, maintain inventory, operate self propelled machinery, record information
about crops, repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment, repair farm
buildings, fences, and other structures, set up repair, maintain, and operate specialized equipment, tend to
livestock by feeding, medicating, general care, grading, sorting, working, placing identification on, or
relocating, trap and destroy pests, use hand tools such as such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning
hooks, shears, loppers, and knives, use hand tools such as wrenches, crow bars, air tools, electric tools,
weigh containers and record weights and identifying information, work in extreme temperatures. Equipment
such as but not limited to the following will be used/operated by the workers in conjunction with the duties
being performed: bailers and other hay equipment, GPS guidance systems, forklift, horseback riding for
sorting, caring for livestock, irrigation equipment, packaging equipment, pickups, cars, etc, semi trucks, skid
steers, straight frame trucks, tractor/trailer combinations, tractors. The workers will be performing the duties to
help produce: cattle, horses, hay, wheat.

Special Requirements

Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to
obtain following hire appropriate CDL and obtain clean driving record to drive grain trucks. Be able to
lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the
worker. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate
termination from employment.
