Job description
Cook II will be responsible for preparation and execution of all meals, including preparing, seasoning, and cooking dishes such as soups, meats, vegetables, or desserts in restaurants, rotating food to ensure freshness, assisting with ordering supplies, inspecting and cleaning food preparation areas or serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices, and ensuring prepared food quality meets company standards. May need to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Schedule: 35 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 7:30am - 2:30pm, 9:00am – 4:00pm, or 2:30pm – 9:30pm. Shift hours may vary. Special Requirements
The Petitioner will consider for employment any person who possesses at least eight (8) months of experience in food production in a fast-paced restaurant setting.
