Job description

During this contract workers will be needed for running equipment for planting and providing help
maintaining plant health in the early stages of winter wheat production Job duties may include and are
not limited to tasks such as: apply products such as fertilizers, pesticides, growth inhibitors, etc,
attach/detach implements, be able to handle working in high humidity, clean work areas, direct and
monitor work during planting and harvesting, haul and spread materials such as but not limited to
fertilizer to condition the soil, identify plants, crops, pests, and weeds to determine the selection and
application of pesticides and fertilizers, inform farm managers of plants or crops progress, load and
unload materials and commodities, mix materials, dump solutions or seeds into planter, spreader,
sprayer type machinery, operate self propelled machinery, record information about crops, repair and
maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment, repair farm buildings, fences, and
other structures, use hand tools such as wrenches, crow bars, air tools, electric tools, work in extreme
temperatures. Equipment such as but not limited to the following will be used/operated by the workers
in conjunction with the duties being performed: air seeders, augers, bins, silos, loading and unloading
facilities, GPS guidance systems, manure spreading equipment, pickups, cars, etc, skid steers,
sprayers, tractors. The workers will be performing the duties to help produce: wheat.

Special Requirements

Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to
obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 50
lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing
positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination
from employment.
