Job description
Job duties include the following, but is not limited to:
Feeding, watering, herding, castrating, branding, weighing, catching and loading cattle.
Examining cattle to detect diseases and injuries.
Assisting in birthing, administering medications, vaccinations, or insecticides.
Use of various farming equipment like tractors, feed wagon, payloader and skid loader
Assist permanent workers to put up temporary grazing areas.
Special Requirements
Minimum of 3 months verifiable experience is required.
Must be able to obtain driver's license 30-90 days from hire.
Job duties require physical and manual labor and workers will be required to push, pull, sit and walk extensively, frequent bending and stooping over. Workers will be required to be able to lift and carry tools and agricultural equipment that weigh up to 60lbs. Work is performed mostly outdoors and workers will be exposed to extremely severe and cold temperatures, and in some conditions blizzards, snow and sleet.
Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience.
