Job description
Will be responsible for cleanliness and sanitation in all areas of the day lodge except for the kitchen. --Service, clean, or supply restrooms. Gather and empty trash. Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming. Monitor building security and safety by performing tasks such as locking doors after operating hours or checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created. Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems. Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures. Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications. Clean windows, glass partitions, or mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, or squeegees. Requisition supplies or equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties. Dust furniture, walls, machines, or equipment. Clean and polish furniture, fixtures, and floors. Move heavy furniture, equipment, or supplies, either manually or with hand trucks. Recycling gathering and using the baler machine to compact and package carboard.
Special Requirements
Background checks are completed in new hire onboarding with Human Resources. Drug screening is completed randomly, if there is a worksite injury, or if there is damage to Deer Valley property that is more than $150.
On-the-Job Training provided. Will Train.
Following Shifts available 7 days a week including weekends and holidays. Work hours from: 3:00pm - 11:30pm, shifts based on the time of the season, daylight, and need.
Hourly Wage: $16.46/hr (based on merit and past experience with our company)
Overtime Possible: Overtime may be available at $24.74/hr.
Possible Wage Increase: Deer Valley offers pay raises based on performance and merit. Each employee receives a performance review at the end of each season, based on these reviews employees will receive a merit from 0% - 5% for the start of the next winter season. Employee's may receive spot raises based on their performance.
