Job description

Duties required: harvest, count, plant, field pack, stack, load and unload strawberries and blueberries. Other duties may include installation/maintenance of drip-tape irrigation, pruning, scanning, cutting/trimming, weeding, pulling plastic/drip-tape, field walking, quality control and general farm labor. This will be done under extreme weather conditions such as heat, direct sunlight, cold weather, possible rain, wind and exposure to pollen. Repetitive physical conditions such as heavy bending, stooping and lifting will be involved on a regular basis. Random drug testing will be post-hire at employer's expense. Workers must pick at least 5 units per hour in strawberries and 2.5 units per hour in blueberries.

Special Requirements

Workers must adhere to all safety rules as instructed by supervisors and practice safety in all aspects of work. The employer is a drug-free workplace and has a zero tolerance policy for drugs and alcohol in the workplace and in the employer-provided housing. Drug screening will be conducted post-hire at employer's expense for cases with valid reasons for suspicion.
