Job description
Job duties include preparing scale tickets, monitoring to ensure compliance with moisture and grade standards; operation for transferring grain to proper storage location; transporting grain from elevator as required and transferring grain from storage bins to truck bins prior to transport; operating augers and conveyors; clearing grain from automatic conveyor system that is causing jams, stoppages, or gaps in grain movement; performing housekeeping duties to ensure that storage locations are properly maintained; performing maintenance & minor miscellaneous repair on augers, grain bins and other tools involved with the storage of grain. Workers may be required to operate machinery for storage facility maintenance and farm trucks (no CDL required). Must be able to climb vertical grain leg. 1 month of experience required. Daily duties may vary depending on crop, weather, and field conditions. The employer reserves the right to increase workers' pay or provide bonuses based on tenure, performance, or other factors that are solely based on the discretion of the employer.
Special Requirements
Drug screening and criminal background check may be done post hire at the employer's expense to ensure safety of those working on the equipment. Workers will be exposed to AR winter conditions when working outdoors.
