Job description

Workers will spend approximately half their time on trucking related tasks. Namely, the workers will help to load big rig trucks at the Employer's farms and then deliver those loads to the Employer's customers in the South Eastern United States.

The rest of the time the works will be involved with farm labor. Specifically, workers will plant, fertilize, prune, trim, and water plants; feed, water, and take care of animals (not on a range); and operate, perform basic and simple repairs, and maintain farm implements and mechanical equipment. Workers will also conduct all other normal activities usually associated with general agricultural work.

Special Requirements

Worker must posses a valid commercial driving license (CDL) that allows them to operate big-rig trucks in the United States. This work involves working conditions that require high stamina, a high level of physical activity in cold or extremely hot conditions in direct sunlight and in adverse weather, such as rain. The work requires a high level of physical conditioning. A general work week is Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm. However, because of the complexity of our customer orders, workers may be requested to work long days as well as on Saturdays, Sundays or Federal Holidays, depending upon the the orders
being placed. Therefore, hours above 40 per week may be offered but are not guaranteed. All required breaks and limits on driving time for truck drivers will be strictly obeyed. All rules, laws, and regulations related to truck driving will be strictly followed and obeyed.
