Job description
Attend to live farm animals that include cattle; Inspect, maintain, fashion, repair equipment,
machinery, buildings, pens, yards, fences including electric; Place yearling cattle on wheat
pasture for grazing; Drive equipment to distribute feed and mineral to animals to supplement
diet; Monitor animal health; Break ice in watering facilities; Pull cattle off wheat prior to hollow
stem; Wean yearlings; Sort yearlings to be sold; Prepare calving areas; Process cattle by
administering medicine; Assist with birth deliveries.
Special Requirements
Six (6) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Be able to lift
up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the
worker. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in
immediate termination from employment.
