Job description

Use hand tools such as shovels, scoops, brooms, for sweeping, cleaning, and repairing grain
bins, augers, and dryers; Repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures as well as farm
vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Participate in the inspection, grading,
sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops; Monitor moisture levels using moisture
sensors in the scale house; Turning levers and knobs to dry grain, sweep bins with hand
broom after grain is augured; Load agricultural products into trucks, and drive to market or
storage facilities; Must be able to work in dusty conditions and be willing to work inside grain
bins; Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate employer provided safety equipment.

Special Requirements

One (1) month of recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Be able to
lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to
the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from
employment.
