Job description

Manage livestock on corn and milo stalks, livestock facilities, and maintenance. Duties include but are not limited to monitoring cattle, feeding, doctoring, calving, fixing fence, maintenance on support equipment. Job duties may include and are not limited to tasks such as: apply products such as fertilizers, pesticides, growth inhibitors, etc, attach/detach implements, clean work areas, haul and spread materials such as but not limited to fertilizer to condition the soil, load crops and drive trucks to transport to and from fields and/or storage locations or facilities, load and unload materials and commodities, load inputs and drive trucks to transport to fields, maintain grounds and landscaping, maintain inventory, mix materials, dump solutions or seeds into planter, spreader, sprayer type machinery, operate self propelled machinery, repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment, repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures, tend to livestock by feeding, medicating, general care, grading, sorting, working, placing identification on, or relocating, use hand tools such as such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears, loppers, and knives, use hand tools such as wrenches, crow bars, air tools, electric tools, work in extreme temperatures, As assigned by supervisor. Equipment such as but not limited to the following will be used/operated by the workers in conjunction with the duties being performed: augers, bins, silos, loading and unloading facilities, dirt moving equipment, GPS guidance systems, forklift, manure spreading equipment, pickups, cars, etc, self-propelled machinery, semi trucks, skid steers, sprayers, tractors. The workers will be performing the duties to help produce: cattle. Additional Planned Employee Workplace Improvement Initiatives Include: 1. Employees shall receive an annual bonus of $500 at the completion of the work contract. 2.Paid sick leave shall be part of the compensation package and shall accrue at the rate of four (4) hours of sick leave every two-week pay period. Sick leave may be claimed for pay on any paycheck. 3.An electronic log shall be created and made available to both employee and employer for the purposes of documenting and addressing any housing deficiencies or maintenance needed. Entries shall be made weekly, and any concerns shall be addressed within one week and corrected as soon as possible. 4.Hineman Land & Cattle will commit to Neutrality, Access, and Voluntary Recognition when it comes to its employees and their desire to pursue a work force union.

Special Requirements

One (1) month of recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to
obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 50
lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing
positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment
