Job description
Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties found in SOC Code 45-2041 Graders and
Sorters, Agricultural Products such as: Grade and sort products according to factors such as
color, species, length, width, appearance, feel, smell, and quality to ensure correct processing
and usage by manually dumping boxes of seed into treater; Weigh products or estimate their
weight visually or by feel such as microbiotics like Pivot Bio and inoculants to prepare seed for
planting; Perform seed counts; Record treatments performed; Place seed into containers by
grade and mark grade on container for safekeeping; Perform physical activities that require
considerable use of arms and legs such as removing trees, fence, snow and maintaining
equipment; Take soil sample, mark container for grading; Prepare work area of seed quality
meeting; All work must be performed after harvest and prior to planting; Must be able to speak
English.
Special Requirements
Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to
obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 50
lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing
positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination
from employment.
