Job description
Employees will perform duties in the potato warehouse such as loading trucks and railcars; sorting, grading, and disposing of rotten or poor quality potatoes; stacking pallets of bagged potatoes; running a bobcat around the warehouse as needed and performing maintenance on equipment and around the warehouse. Employees will also transport potatoes and other product from the farm to market as needed. Employees will also perform cleaning and upkeep of the warehouse to ensure the work area and equipment are clean and well organized. The employer reserves the right to increase workers' pay or provide bonuses based on tenure, performance, or other factors that are solely based on the discretion of the employer.
Special Requirements
Job requires having or being able to obtain a drivers license within 30 days of hire. Basic English literacy and math skills are required. Job will require periods when workers may be exposed to varying weather conditions and extensive pushing, pulling, sitting, or walking.
