Job description
Workers will operate and maintain farm equipment and vehicles including (but not limited to) Tractors, Farm Implements, Hay Equipment, Combines, Grain Carts, Grain Elevators, Cotton Pickers, Sprayers, and other machines. Workers will operate sprayers in order to apply fertilizer, herbicides, and insecticides. Workers will operate equipment to cultivate, harvest, plow, shred and seed row crops, load and unload trucks and grain carts, and haul crops to bins and grain elevators. Workers will climb ladders and check grain bins. Workers will perform general maintenance on the agricultural equipment. Good safety skills of operating the equipment are mandatory. Equipment operators may be asked from time to time to work in other areas of the Farm, running irrigation, performing repairs, repairing fences, maintenance, cleaning of service equipment, and general farm duties. Workers will perform duties required for the production of beef cattle such as: feeding, cleaning water, attending to pasture/ fields, and examining the cattle. Workers may also be asked to assist in duties relating to dairy goat production. Workers must have 3 months of experience operating 500 hp tractors in an agricultural operation. Workers must posses a valid Driver's License in order to transport work vehicles to and from the work site. During Harvest, Planting and Heavy Tillage: Workers may be required to work 7 days a week and up to 100 hours per week.

Hours listed in Section A.6 are the anticipated hours to be worked. The employer may offer additional work hours or these hours could increase or decrease based on weather conditions, crop delay, pests or disease, crop yield, available labor, and or productivity. Use of electronic devices during work hours is restricted to emergencies only.
