Job description
Seasonal tasks associated with preparation of winter forage to include planting small grains and rye, feeding hay and preparing for calving. Sesonal duties include routine breaking of ice on frozen ponds and troughs, regular weighing, attending to sick calves and preparing haying equipment. Calving duties include scheduled medical treatments through weaning and pre-conditioning. Calf crop will be sold upon weaning and pre-conditioning in September 2025.
Special Requirements
Applicant must be able to demonstrate prior calving/medical treatment knowledge and experience to be verified by references. Applicant must be able to drive manual transmission, operate tractors with implements and conduct first line maintanence.
