Job description
Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties found in SOC Code 45-2093 Farmworkers,
Farm, Ranch, and Aquacultural Animals such as: Attend to live farm, ranch animals that include
cattle; Duties include feeding, watering, herding, catching, and loading animals; Maintain records
on animals; Examine animals to detect diseases and injuries; Prepare calving areas; Sort cattle
upon sale; Administer medications, vaccinations, or insecticides as appropriate; Move livestock
and feed from one location to another; Clean and maintain animal housing areas; Break ice in
water facilities and maintain heated watering systems; Inspect, maintain, prepare, repair
livestock equipment, facilities, buildings, pens, yards; Must speak English.
Special Requirements
Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Be able to
lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to
the worker. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result
in immediate termination from employment.
