Job description
Manually harvest, clean, and pack field crops; Operate equipment for farming production and
harvest; Clean work areas, and maintain grounds and landscaping; Repair and maintain farm
vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment as well as buildings and other structures;
Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops;
Load agricultural products into trucks without over or under filling and drive to market or
storage facilities; Set up and operate equipment; Place products in containers according to
grade and mark grades on containers; Discard inferior or defective products or foreign matter,
and place acceptable products in containers for further processing; Grade and sort products
according to factors such as color, species, length, width, appearance, feel, smell, and quality
to ensure correct processing and usage.
Special Requirements
Be able to work in extreme conditions such as heat, humidity, wind, cold. Lift and carry supplies.
Follow instructions. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the
worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license within 30 days following hire and obtain clean
driving record to be able to operate company vehicle. Lift up to 50 lbs.
